Frequently asked questions
Are my images uploaded?
No. Compression runs entirely in your browser with FFmpeg.wasm. mySutra does not receive or store your files.
Why does the first run take longer?
The FFmpeg engine downloads once (a few megabytes) and is cached by your browser. Later compressions start faster.
Which format should I pick?
WebP is usually smallest for photos. JPG is widely compatible. PNG keeps sharp edges and transparency but compresses less for photos.
Is there a size limit?
Limits depend on your device memory. Very large images may be slow — try lowering max dimensions first.
